It looks more like high jewellery than a watch and that is exactly the point. Graff wanted to make the ultimate fantasy piece and they did. If you ever see it in person your jaw drops.

Interesting fact the watch took thousands of hours to set all those diamonds by hand. One tiny mistake and the whole thing would be ruined.

2. Graff Diamonds The Fascination 40 Million Dollars

Second place goes to another Graff masterpiece. The Fascination has 152 carats of white diamonds and a massive 38 carat pear shaped diamond in the centre that you can actually remove and wear as a ring.

Yes you read that right. The watch turns into a ring. That kind of clever design plus all those flawless diamonds explains the 40 million dollar price tag.

Tidbit the centre diamond alone would cost millions on its own.

3. Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Ref. 6300A 010 31 Million Dollars

The only steel Grandmaster Chime ever made sold for charity in 2019 and still holds third place. This watch has 20 complications including grande and petite sonnerie, minute repeater and perpetual calendar.

Patek Philippe spent years developing it and the stainless steel case makes it unique. All normal Grandmaster Chimes are precious metal. Serious collectors call this the holy grail of modern most valuable watches.

4. Breguet Grande Complication Marie Antoinette 30 Million Dollars

One of the oldest watches on the list. Commissioned in 1783 for Queen Marie Antoinette (she never saw it finished). Breguet worked on it for decades as well as also included every complication known at the time. Thermometer, perpetual calendar, minute repeater and more.

The original was stolen and later recovered. A modern recreation took another 4 years to build. Pure watchmaking history.

Interesting fact the queen was executed before the watch was done. The watch outlived her by many years.

5. Chopard 201 Carat Watch 25 Million Dollars

201 carats of diamonds. That is the headline. Three heart shaped diamonds lik epink, blue and white open like flower petals to reveal the dial underneath.

Chopard made this in 2000 as the ultimate jewellery watch. It is more bracelet than timepiece yet still one of the most expensive watches ever created.

Tidbit the three heart diamonds weigh 15, 12 and 11 carats each.

6. Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication 24 Million Dollars

A pocket watch but impossible to leave off the list. Made in 1933 for banker Henry Graves it has 24 complications including New York skyline at night and Westminster chimes.

It took eight years to build and held the title of most complicated watch for decades. Pure golden age horology.

7. Jacob & Co. Billionaire Watch 18 Million Dollars

Floyd Mayweather owns one. 260 carats of emerald cut diamonds cover every surface. Jacob Arabo designed it for people who want to wear their wealth literally on the wrist.

8. Rolex Paul Newman Daytona 17.8 Million Dollars

The most expensive Rolex ever sold. This was Paul Newman’s personal watch with “Drive Carefully Me” engraved on the back from his wife Joanne Woodward.

Not covered in diamonds but the story and rarity make it priceless to collectors.

Interesting fact Paul Newman wore this watch while racing cars.

9. Patek Philippe Stainless Steel Ref. 1518 11 Million Dollars

The first perpetual calendar chronograph made in series and one of only four in stainless steel. Sold in 2016 and still climbing in value.

10. Vacheron Constantin 57260 Around 10 Million Dollars (Estimate)

The most complicated pocket watch ever made with 57 complications. Took eight years to build for a private client. Exact price is secret but estimates put it around 10 million dollars.
